The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it can be alarmed with regard to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support stage made for intervention ordeals a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to empower the servicing of all shoppers and enhance use of Social Assistance sassa status check expert services,” the agency said.
